Adults of all ages (and teens) are welcome to our 9:30 AM Sunday School time. Led by gifted teachers of the Bible and Christian living principles, this dedicated time allows us to gather together to dive into a topic that brings us closer to Jesus and to each other as we learn and explore. From classes on books of the Bible to topical classes on prayer, you can find ways to grow in your walk with God and understanding of His Word and character.

Current series:

Labor of Lament

Led by Sarah Nonnenmacher

March 15 - 29

This course intends to help us understand how building intentionality with lament can be an act of worship, imitation of Christ, and lead to sanctification and healing.

Please note there is no Sunday School on Easter Sunday. Join us for Breakfast instead!

upcoming series:

hard sayings of the bible

Led by Martin Appold and Jeremiah Janney

April 12 - May 31

This class will cover several theologically challenging Bible passages with the goal of helping to strengthen our faith and equipping us to share it. It is based on the book "Hard Sayings of the Bible". Some of the questions and passages may include: Was Rahab right to lie? (1 Sam.16:1-3); Should children be punished for their parents’ sins? (Deut. 24:16); Is it fair to condemn those who have never heard the gospel? (Romans 2:12).

the hebrew language

Shalom! Many assume that learning biblical Hebrew is reserved for scholars—but this class is here to prove otherwise. Together, we’ll take our first steps in reading the language of the Old Testament. If you're able to invest a bit of time outside of class, you may be surprised at how quickly you begin to read and understand key texts. If your time is more limited, you’ll still benefit from engaging discussions on the history of the Hebrew Bible, the development of the text, and key linguistic and theological concepts rooted in the language. Whether you're here to dive deep or simply gain insight, this class has something for everyone.

jonah: a whale of a tale

Jonah is one of the most famous stories in the Old Testament. Who could ever forget the story of a man who was swallowed by a fish and lived to tell about it? The incredible supernatural events of this book surely help us remember it. Join us beginning September 28th in the Great Room as we discover that Jonah is much more than a Whale of a Tale.

god's big picture

This nine week course traces the story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation to see how it all fits together, telling of God's plan to save the world through Jesus Christ. Join us for this wonderful study starting in the New Year.

2 Tim. 3:16-17

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
