Lead Pastor; Interim Pastor Ministries
Office Manager; Finance Assistant

Children's Ministry Director
Paul started to serve at Compass in November 2024 as the Interim Lead Pastor, having served in churches of all sizes—small, medium, large, and megachurch—in regions as diverse as Alaska, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio, and Montana. He and his wife, Brenda, quickly settled into the family culture at Compass. They both enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, music, and studying the Bible.
Peggy and her family were part of the Compass community for many years; now she is serving as the Office Manager and Finance Assistant. Peggy and her husband, Kevin, live on a farm where they raised four kids and currently raise produce and dairy cows. She sees her work as a way to serve the Lord and support the mission of Compass. In her free time, Peggy enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with family.
Heather brings decades of experience with children through her work as a public school teacher, Sunday School teacher, and homeschooling mom to 3 (now grown) sons. Heather and her husband, Steve, raised their family at Compass. Her passion for seeing children come to know, love, and follow Jesus motivates her in her current role as director. When she’s not serving in ministry, you’ll likely find her enjoying coffee or lunch with friends, reading a good book, planning trips to national parks with Steve, or spending time with their adult children. She looks forward to meeting and ministering to the kids and families God brings to Compass!

Worship Director
Diana jumped right into serving on the worship team at Compass when she and her husband, Justin, and their 2 kids moved to Columbia in 2022. Singing all her life, she enjoys using her gifts to help people connect with the Lord through music and helping leaders connect administratively. You can also find her dancing, laughing, and deep cleaning.
